President Rick W. Shin has appointed Mr. Jeon Ho as Chief of Staff for the Professional Taekwondo Federation (PTF) and Kombat Global, effective immediately. His appointment reflects the continued global growth of both organizations and their commitment to elevating the standards of martial arts through modern sports governance and international collaboration.
With more than three decades of experience in martial arts, Mr. Jeon is recognized as a distinguished coach, leader, and technical expert within the global Taekwondo community. He is the former National Team Coach for the Peru Taekwondo Federation, where he played a pivotal role in elevating Peru’s competitive programs and international presence. Under his leadership, Peru secured its first-ever World Poomsae Championship medals, marking a historic milestone for the country.
A 7th Dan Black Belt, Mr. Jeon is widely respected for his comprehensive knowledge spanning traditional Taekwondo, competitive Taekwondo, and the emerging professionalization of combat sports. His work has contributed significantly to the development of athletes, referees, and coaches across the Pan American region and beyond.
As Chief of Staff, Mr. Jeon will oversee operational coordination for PTF and Kombat Global across multiple continents, supporting professional events, referee and technical education, licensing, strategic partnerships, and global relations. He will work closely with organizational leadership to advance ongoing expansion throughout Asia, Europe, Pan America, and Africa.
In this role, he will assist the President and Executive team in driving key strategic initiatives, managing cross-departmental coordination, strengthening international partnerships, and streamlining operations. In addition, he will support both Kombat Global and PTF in enhancing international cooperation, optimizing operational systems, and executing strategic priorities across multiple continents.
Mr. Jeon is fluent in Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and English, bringing strong cross-cultural communication capabilities to his leadership role and enhancing coordination across international markets and stakeholders.
His appointment underscores Kombat Global’s mission to build a unified international martial arts ecosystem, connecting both professional and traditional sectors while advancing global standards of competition, education, and governance.
