Kombat Taekwondo continues its rapid global expansion with the official appointment of Mr. Dmitrii Lian as National President of Kombat Taekwondo Russia, further strengthening its presence across Europe and Eurasia.
A distinguished 7th Dan ITF Black Belt, Mr. Lian currently serves as President of UTF-ITF Russia, leading a federation of more than 2,000 athletes. Widely respected for his leadership and technical expertise, he brings significant experience in developing athletes and managing large-scale Taekwondo programs.

Now active in 124 countries, Kombat Taekwondo has emerged as the world’s largest professional Taekwondo league, redefining the sport by uniting practitioners from all major styles—including WT, ITF, and traditional Taekwondo—under one global competitive platform.
Under Mr. Lian’s leadership, Kombat Taekwondo Russia will focus on expanding national competitions, developing licensed athletes and officials, and positioning Russian fighters on the international stage through Kombat’s global events and ranking system.
This appointment represents another strategic milestone as Kombat Taekwondo continues to build a worldwide ecosystem designed to elevate athletes, increase global visibility, and create new professional opportunities across the martial arts industry.
